Educating the Whole child
Covenant Christian School is a PK3 through 6th grade elementary school committed to educating the “whole child” in a Christ-centered, grace-filled atmosphere. Covenant features purposefully small class sizes in a caring, close-knit community. Located on 12 beautiful acres in St. Louis County, Covenant houses a unique standalone Outdoor Learning Lab in its extensive outdoor classroom, including several gardens, a windmill, and a prairie. Students find academic success through an integral, experiential curriculum that includes Latin, Art, Drawing, Music, PE and Outdoor Skills & Games. Covenant encourages children to be children, meeting their individual needs while assisting them as they explore their gifts and all of God’s creation in meaningful and creative ways.

The child as social/Emotional
Students identify and use their personal strengths, taking responsibility for themselves, demonstrating respect for peers and those in authority, and working effectively both individually and in group settings.
the child as physical
In addition to Covenant’s Outdoor Skills and Physical Education programs, students are given sixty minutes of recess each day. This provides opportunities for students to not only play traditional games, but to also build forts, climb trees, and creatively engage with the school’s extensive and varied outdoor space.
The child as spiritual
Children are, first and foremost, spiritual beings. When they finish their time at Covenant, students love the Lord and their neighbor, have a foundational understanding of Scripture, know the gospel and are able to defend their faith.
the child as intellectual
Intellectually, students are prepared to find academic success wherever God calls them. Covenant students are self-motivated learners and purposeful, creative and innovative thinkers.
The child as artistic
Covenant students enhance their gifts through art, drawing and music coursework. Opportunities to express their artistic selves are woven throughout their curriculum. Covenant provides multiple opportunities for each student to perform on stage, in a variety of settings.
